Dog Sports - Showing

Dog showing (conformation showing) is usually a competition between dogs of the same breed or type, where the judge is looking for the best example in terms of movement, conformation, coat, etc.  There are many different types of shows. From the fun and casual companion shows right up to the four day Championship ones. Some are open to all breeds of dog including cross breeds, some only to Kennel Club registered dogs.
